Hack-A-Thon Rules & Regulations

 

 

INDIVIDUAL STUDENT RULES:

  1. Must be a registered conference attendee
  2. Must work in a team to compete
  3. Must provide their own technology to complete tasks (laptops, cell phones, tablets, etc.)
  4. Must work on a new project during the competition (no outside projects or previous works will be reviewed)

 

 

TEAM RULES:

  1. Students must work in teams of 2-3 throughout the the competition

If a member decides to drop, please inform the Programs Chairperson immediately

  1. Students must form teams upon arrival to check-in (Friday, November 4, 2016 8PM)
  2. Must be a registered conference attendee
  3. Must be present for the opening session of the Hack-A-Thon

 

 

COMPETITION RULES:

    1. There are no specific language requirements
    2. There is no technology limitation (use the technology required to complete the task)

 

  • There will be two deliverables:
  • A 3-5 sentence submission with the category selected and the solution that your team has developed and submitted to the Programs Chairperson by 8:00AM on Saturday, November 5th
  • A final project

 

    1. At least one member from the team must remain in the room!! ( Rotating for restroom breaks, snacks, etc. is permitted)
    2. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE REVIEWED
    3. Teams will CANNOT employ outside help on submitted projects

 

  • Teams must submit their final projects to the following link by 8:00AM, November 5, 2016. If any projects are late, they will not be reviewed.
